A President Like Rosie's Son

in

Good friend and Omnibucket editor Rosie Atkins posted the most interesting endorsement of Barack Obama that I have yet to read on her I Ride Muni blog:

Here’s the opening snippet:

“I agree with everything Ms. Kennedy wrote, but when I look at Senator Obama, I see a president like my son. Like Obama, my son is biracial. Unlike Obama, my son, born in 1995, is not unique in his multi-culturalism, or in his brownness. His is a world that is increasingly interconnected.”

Scott Baio Raisin Conspiracy!Scott Baio Raisin Conspiracy!

For too long, the truth has been suppressed.
Shortly after1983’s release of ‘The Boys are Out Tonight’ Baio dropped off the radar and disappeared from the public eye. What of those missing years?

What became of him?

Finally, a clue has surfaced despite the best efforts of those who would have the public left in the darkness of ignorance, and we can see, for the first time, the transformation that Baio underwent in the drug fueled confusion of the early 90s. That’s right, our own beloved Scott Baio is the model for the Sunmaid Raisins raisin girl.

Dried fruit lovers everywhere salute you Scott!

Hail Nature’s Candy

Hail!
Hail!

For those about to Reykjavik

Just a quick shout out to all the homies in Iceland, keepin’ it real despite the absence of natural resources other than an abundance of geothermal power and a heavy dependence upon fishing which provides nearly 70% of export earnings and employs 6% of the work force.

Word up.

I came upon this perusing CNN this morning. If she is truly a prodigy she would have read Ulysses. Haven’t found out if that is so. Ha ha.

Seriously, if you have a moment check it out. Inspiration or a big kick in the ass. Either way.
