OLOGY 18

An Introduction to the Previous Future!

It was the Aztecs who conceptualized the passage of time in a cyclical, rather than linear fashion. It was in this system that events could be both in the future and in the past depending upon your position in the rotation.

As you may remember then, from a previous but not so distant future OLOGY release (We’ll call it “Issue 18” for all you linear- time based readers out there) - at the center of the Aztecs’ calendar stone is the sun god, Tonatiuh who sits surrounded by symbols of the five world creations.

We tried to get an interview but as you might imagine, managing not just one but an additional four more worlds is a pretty hectic undertaking and to be honest, it is not as easy to find and prepare a blood sacrifice of 1,000 still-beating human hearts as it used to be. Like most recent events (you’ll see soon enough) we might be able to attribute this at least in part, to a fickle and wavering U.S. stock market.

But we digress.

So for OLOGY 18, we had to ask ourselves… what could possibly take the place of an interview with a pre-Colombian Creation deity?

The answer was obvious immediately and so in this, the 18th issue of OLOGY, we are very excited to share with you, our conversation with the legendary Barron Storey.

Mr. Storey is an artist of such amazing caliber and talent that he truly needs no introduction.
Barron was also gracious enough to provide us with a never before seen image for the cover.

So, as one season blends into the next and the past begins to resemble the future, we hope that the bending of time lines and seasons in combination with all the Halloween candy does not make you hurl. There is no better cure for the trans-dimensional time and spatial discombobulatory willies than the latest (…previous, upcoming, and soon to be announced etc. etc.) issue of OLOGY.

All ado further put aside into the past, have at it!
